Welcome to Thame Cinema 4 All
.....one of the hidden
gems in Thame, in that despite showing great films to discerning
audiences for the last 7 years, many people in Thame and district
do not know that we exist.

We don't plan our showings too far ahead as we seek to show great
quality films soon after they become available.
We are based in the Thame Players
Theatre in Nelson Street Thame. Doors open
at 7.30pm and the film starts at 8pm.
Admission is just £5
payable on the door. It is rare that we are 'sold out',
so we do not 'reserve tickets' in advance.
Thame Cinema is organised by a
team of local people with a love of good films...and we welcome
others to get involved with choosing, and showing our
films. Though a not for profit organisation we have made small
profits each year which we then plough back into improved equipment
and in meeting the costs of fund raising screenings for local schools
etc.
Do please use the email sign up
box above right to request a reminder of each film to be sent to
you a few days before screening. We will never release your details
to others.
Next Film: Saturday
January 10th: The Band's Visit

Early Dates in 2009
We have decided to begin the year with
a trio of world movies that you won’t have a chance to see elsewhere
on a big screen, beginning with the acclaimed The Band’s
Visit.
January 10
The
Bands Visit (12a)
January 24
Times
and Winds (15)
A portrait of three young people on
the cusp of adulthood, Times and Winds is a mesmerising film
about the rhythms of life, the experience of faith, and the painful
tensions between the reality of rural poverty and the potency of youthful
desires and aspirations.
January 31
El
Bano del Papa (15)
Completing our trio El Bano del Papa is a
small but perfectly formed comedy about a community hoping to cash
in – both materially and spiritually - on the forthcoming visit
of His Holiness to their rural Uruguayan town.
February 14
I've Loved You So Long (TBC)
